In this video we’ll have a chat about

  • Why Unrealistic expectations are getting in the way of your success
  • How to reframe your expectations so that you can perform at your best

This is for you if you want to push through the mental roadblocks that are getting in the way of your success

It is TOTALLY NORMAL to have any one (or all) of these feelings when engaging in something new.

In fact, it would be ABNORMAL not to experience these feelings.

“I should be doing this perfectly and anything less than perfect is FAILURE.

REALISTIC Expectations:

Trade “perfection” for “presence; As Woody Allen famously said, “80% of success is showing up”

“I have to figure out how every part of this  works  RIGHT NOW, or I will fail.”

REALISTIC Expectations:

“How do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time”

Feeling Stuck:

“I’m lost, I don’t know what to do, I’m stuck and that must mean that Nothing is ever going to work!”

REALISTIC Expectations:

“Feeling stuck just means that there’s something I need to KNOW, FEEL or UNDERSTAND. Once I do, I’ll be able to move forward again.”

Feeling Like You’re Not Doing It Right:

“There is a way to do this ‘right’, according to The Global Committee For The Way Things Are Done Right”

REALISTIC Expectations

“I trust the process and know that I will get exactly  what I need  for where I’m at.

Worried That Others Are Further Ahead:

“Everyone is going to go at the same pace, so if I don’t keep up (or even surpass the others), then that means doing a bad job”

REALISTIC Expectations

Everyone goes at a different pace  I’m not seeking fast results that will come undone just as quickly, I’m seeking permanence. This is is not a mad rush to the finish line I am one healthy habit away from my happy size
