Let me take you back to 2018 when I set a goal to lose weight. But in no way did I want to start dieting… if you’ve ever coached with me then you know it’s my biggest pet-peeve: diets don’t work.

I set the goal because I had found myself in an embarrassing moment on a date.

I won’t go into the details but let’s just say that my confidence took a big blow: I lost my groove and didn’t feel sexy and confident in my body anymore. 

To be honest I kinda felt like a hypocrite. How could I be coaching clients to lose weight and feel great when I was not comfortable in my own skin … right?

I tried to go at it alone for a while but wasn’t getting anywhere.

When I finally decided to stop coaching myself (because nobody can be their own Yoda)  and hired the services of a health coach, I started getting the results I was desperately looking for.

  6. Undiagnosed food sensitivities – most people are not aware that food sensitivities can cause you to hold onto weight, regardless of how many calories you’re consuming. When you eat a problematic food, your body undergoes a systemic inflammatory response; This can be avoided by simply by eliminating those foods that are wreaking havoc on your hormones and your metabolism.

  7. Being too stressed out & not getting enough sleep – Under normal circumstances, your hormones will function to regulate your appetite and your metabolism. But when you are stressed and are not sleeping enough this is going to affect your hormones, your stress hormones in particular and turn up the volume on those hormones that cause unpredictable mood swings  and stress related food cravings.
